About ChanceKit
A small set of browser tools for low-stakes chance.
About this page
ChanceKit is a free browser utility for moments when a group wants a visible, even draw: a coin, a handful of dice, a name wheel, a yes or no, or an integer inside a range. It is built for classrooms, tabletop games, and ordinary indecision. It is not a casino, not a sportsbook, and not a source of secrets.
What “random” means here
Every result is chosen in your browser with the Web Crypto API. That is a cryptographically strong pseudorandom generator supplied by the device. It is not atmospheric noise, not a published hardware feed, and not a server ChanceKit operates. The methodology page compares those ideas without pretending they are the same product.
The tools start blank. A page does not ship with heads already selected, a die already showing 20, or a winner already highlighted. You tap, and then there is an outcome. The next tap is a new draw.
Who it is for
Teachers who want a spinner they can edit, tables that left the dice bag at home, and anyone settling a tie that does not deserve a meeting. If the choice affects safety, money, health, or someone who did not agree to a coin flip, do not outsource it to a button.

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. The tools run in the page. Wheel and team lists can stay in local storage on the device. Nothing else about a flip is tied to an identity.
Who publishes ChanceKit?
Thestral publishes ChanceKit as an independent utility. It is not a casino product and it is not affiliated with other chance, countdown, or bill-splitting sites.
