About this page
ChanceKit is usable without an account, a cookie banner, or a name. The interactive tools compute results in your browser. This page says what is stored, what is not, and how to delete the lists.
Local lists
The wheel, name picker, classroom spinner, yes/no wheel, and team splitter save their text in local storage so a refresh does not wipe a roster. The keys start with chancekit:. They are readable by this site in this browser. They are not a ChanceKit account database. Coin flips, dice, and generated numbers are kept only in memory for the visit.
Use the button on this page to delete those keys. You can also clear site data in the browser. Private windows may discard storage when they close.
Cookies and advertising
The tools do not set a cookie in order to flip, roll, or spin. If advertising is turned on later, an ad partner such as Google AdSense may set cookies and the policy will need to say so in the place the ads appear. Ads are not required for the tools, and they are not enabled by this skeleton. Analytics are not wired in this version either.
Contact mail
The contact form opens your email program. The message stays on your machine until you send it. Do not include a roster of minors or other sensitive data in a wheel or in an email to the site.

Questions
Do you sell names from the wheel?
No. The list is not uploaded as part of a spin. Do not put sensitive data in it anyway, because the browser, extensions, and anyone with access to the device can read local storage.
How do I wipe the lists?
Use Clear ChanceKit lists below, or clear this site's data in the browser settings. That does not affect other websites.
