About this page
The wheel is a list you control. One entry per line, at least two lines, then Spin. Every non-empty line gets an equal slice. If you type a name twice, that name gets two slices and is more likely to come up. The winning line is chosen when you press Spin. The rotation lands on that line. It does not pick a different line at the end of the animation. The list is written to local storage on this device under a ChanceKit key, so a refresh keeps your edits and a different browser does not. Remove winner drops the first matching line so a classroom can sample without replacement. There is no account. Clearing site data, or the button on the privacy page, deletes the list.

Questions
Does each slice have the same chance?
Yes, one slice per non-empty line. The draw is an integer from 0 to n−1, mapped onto the current list order. Blank lines are ignored. Eighty lines is the cap. A very long label is truncated on the disc and kept in full in the text box.
What if I type the same name twice?
That person has two chances out of the new total. The wheel does not merge duplicates. If you wanted unique names, delete the extra line. The remove-winner control removes one matching line, not every copy.
Where is the list saved?
In local storage in this browser, not on a ChanceKit server. The main wheel, the name picker, the classroom spinner, the team list, and the yes/no wheel each use a separate key so they do not overwrite one another. Private browsing may drop the list when the session ends.
What happens with one entry?
Spin asks for two. A one-slice wheel is a decision you have already made. Add another real option or delete the list and start over. An empty box is the same refusal.
Can I spin from the keyboard?
Yes. Focus Spin and press Enter or Space, or press those keys when you are not typing in the list. While the cursor is in the text box, Space types a space, which is what you want when you are editing names.
Is the spin connected to a casino game?
No. There is no payout and no house edge, because there is no stake. Equal slices are a classroom picker. Do not represent the graphic as a gambling wheel, and do not use it to allocate money unless everyone understands it is only a random index into a list.
What should I check before I trust a spin?
Count the lines you meant to include, delete blanks you do not want, and read the slice count under the box. The wheel uses that count, not the number of rows that merely look occupied. Spin once on a projector if the group needs a shared result. A second phone has a different list and a different draw. Remove winner only after you have agreed that the person is out of the next round. The history strip is a reminder, not a lock. If the slice text is truncated on the disc, trust the full line under the wheel. That word is the result.
